After the Dino Rangers lose to the villains, they are imprisoned in the Magical Gunk Prison Of Gnarl. Lothor begins to plot his revenge on the Dino Thunder Rangers. Later, Power Ranger Tommy and Trent are training their red Dino Ranger and the White Ranger for a final mission. Meanwhile in the Gunk Palace, Lothor plans to capture the red Dino Ranger. Tommy and Trent encounter the corrupted Dino Rangers and there is a huge battle at the Gunk Palace. When the battle is over, the whole place is taken over by Shadow dinosaurs. While Tommy is on a mission to save Jake, Ethan uses his power to become Mustang Dino Ranger to get him out. Ethan and Trent escape. Back at the Gunk Palace, a single Rangers fight the entire corrupt Dino Rangers. This Ranger uses a special kind of attack to save his friends. When he is done, the corrupted Dino Rangers leave. Meanwhile, Lothor and his minions take over the Gunk Palace. When Tommy and Jake learn of the Shadow Rangers plan, they travel to the Hidden Jungle and encounter the Shadow Rangers. Lothor captures Tommy, but Jake manages to get him out before he is destroyed. Ethan and Trent have gone to retrieve a special weapon to help the Power Rangers. They manage to get their weapon. Meanwhile, Tommy and Jake have reached the Gunk Palace. As they go into a chamber, they get their zords and get their weapons from Trent. There, Tommy defeats one of the corrupted Dino Rangers. Then the other corrupted Dino Rangers arrive. They fight the two of them, but Tommy manages to defeat them.
After defeating the corrupted Dino Rangers, the two of them take on Lothor and his minions. When Tommy dons the Dino Thunder Megazord, he and Jake are Mighty Morphin. They fight the good Dino Rangers. Meanwhile, the White Dino Ranger fights the corrupted Dino Rangers until he manages to defeat them. Ethan and Trent come to help him.
